Linux (RHEL) & Windows Systems Engineer/in (m/w/d)
We are looking for a proficient Linux (Red Hat) & Windows Engineer with German language skills to join our IT team. The ideal candidate will have experience in managing and maintaining Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments, along with familiarity with Windows operations. This role is focused on ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our Linux infrastructure while also managing occasional Windows-related tasks.

Your Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Perform system installations, configurations, and updates for Red Hat systems.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to ensure system stability.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and security policies on Red Hat systems.
- Ensure the security of the Red Hat environment by implementing best practices and performing regular audits.
- Automate routine tasks using scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Assist with the management of Windows servers and systems, performing tasks such as patch management, user administration, and system monitoring.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support various IT projects and initiatives.
- Provide technical support and guidance to other IT team members and end-users.
Your Profile
- Fluent in German and English.
- 3+ years of experience as a Red Hat Administrator/Engineer, managing RHEL environments.
- Strong knowledge of Linux system administration, including system installations, configurations, and performance tuning.
- Experience with automation and scripting (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet).
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM).
- Basic knowledge of Windows server administration tasks.
